Top of the 7th

A scoreless 1-2-3 inning gives Georgia Tech a 14-1 victory and a sweep of the Duke Blue Devils.

Georgia Tech is now 42-8 and 22-5 in the ACC. They face Mercer on Tuesday.

Bottom of the 6th

Three walks loaded the bases and Brosius blasted a grand slam to put GT up 14-1 heading to the 7th

Scoreless inning for Duke. GT leads 10-1 heading to the bottom of the 6th

Bottom of the 5th

Hernandez got a leadoff single and then Brosius was hit by a pitch to put two runners on with no outs. Kerce struck out and then Duke made a pitching change. A three run home run from Burress not only gave Georgia Tech a 10-1 lead, he tied the program record for home runs. Advincula then walked and Lackey singled, but Baker grounded into a double play to end the inning. GT leads 10-1 heading to the 6th

Duke gets a two out walk, but no hits or runs. GT leads 7-1 heading to the bottom of the 5th

Scoreless inning for GT. The Yellow Jackets lead 7-1 heading to the 5th

Blakely struck out two in a scoreless 1-2-3 inning. GT leads 7-1 heading to the bottom of the 4th

Bottom of the 3rd

Zuckerman, Schmidt, and Hernandez drew one out walks to load the bases and then a sac fly from Brosius pushed the lead to 6-1. An RBI double from Kerce made it 7-1 and then Burress was intentionally walked, which loaded the bases, but Advincula grounded out to end the inning.

Top of the 3rd

A scoreless 1-2-3 inning from Blakely. GT leads 5-0 heading to the bottom of the 3rd

Bottom of the 2nd

Kerce gets a leadoff single, but the Yellow Jackets can't add to the lead. They lead 5-1 heading to the 3rd

Top of the 2nd

Duke gets a one out double, but leaves him stranded. GT leads 5-1 heading to the bottom of the 2nd

Bottom of the 1st

Singles from Kerce and Burress put two runners on base and then an RBI single from Advincula tied the game 1-1. Advincula stole second and Lackey was hit by a pitch to load the bases and after the first two outs of the inning, Schmid blasted a grand slam to put Georgia Tech in front 5-1. Hernandez singled afterward, but Brosius flew out to end the inning. GT leads by four heading to the 2nd

Top of the 1st

A one out single got the Blue Devils one runner on base and an error would later score the runner. Blakely got out of the inning and GT trails 1-0.
