Top of the 9th

A scoreless 1-2-3 inning for Xavier and Georgia Tech gets the game three and series win to move to 39-8. The Yellow Jackets return to the field next Friday against Duke.

Bottom of the 8th

A leadoff double from Zuckerman put him in position for an RBI single from Baker to extend the lead to 13-6. A single from Schmidt put runners on the corners with no outs. An RBI single from Brosius made it 14-6, but GT could add no more. It is 14-6 heading to the 9th

Top of the 8th

Kayden Campbell replaced Loy to start the 8th and after two quick outs, he was replaced by Justin Shadek who struck out the final batter. GT leads 12-6 heading to the bottom of the 8th

Bottom of the 7th

A one out walk from Kerce led to a 2-run home run from Burress that extended the lead to 12-6. Those were the only runs of the inning and GT leads 12-6 heading to the 8th

Top of the 7th

Dylan Loy replaced Gaudette to start the 7th. A walk, a single, and a called catchers interference loaded the bases with two outs, but Loy got out of the jam. GT leads 10-6 heading to the bottom of the 7th

Bottom of the 6th

Scoreless 1-2-3 inning for GT. They lead 10-6 heading to the 7th

Top of the 6th

A leadoff home run cut the lead to 10-3 and then a hit batter and a double put two runners on with no outs. An RBI groundout made it 10-4 and then a 2-run home run cut Georgia Tech's lead to 10-6. Caden Gaudette then replaced Angelakos and he struck out the remaining batters.

Bottom of the 5th

A leadoff single from Schmidt and a one out single from Rogers put two runners on base. an RBI single from Kerce extended the lead to 9-2 and then a two out single from Advincula made it 10-2. A walk from Lackey loaded the bases, but Zuckerman struck out to end the inning.

Top of the 5th

Dimitri Angelakos replaced Blakely to start the 5th and he pitches a scoreless inning. GT leads 8-2 heading to the bottom of the 5th

Bottom of the 4th

A single from Kerce and a walk from Burress put two runners on and then Advincula reached on a fielders choice, putting runners on the corners with one out. A sac fly from Lackey pushed the lead to 8-2, but that was the only run of the inning.

Top of the 4th

Blakely hit the leadoff batter which later led to a two out 2-run home run that put Xavier on the board and made it 7-2. He got out of the inning though and the Yellow Jackets lead by five going to the bottom of the 4th

Bottom of the 3rd

A solo home run from Zuckerman pushed Georgia Tech's lead to 7-0, but the Yellow Jackets could not add anymore runs going into the 4th

Top of the 3rd

Another scoreless inning from Blakely and it is 6-0 Georgia Tech heading to the bottom of the 3rd

Bottom of the 2nd

Lackey draws a two out walk, but is left stranded. GT leads 6-0 heading to the 3rd

Top of the 2nd

Blakely strikes out two more in a scoreless inning. GT leads 6-0 heading to the bottom of the 2nd

Bottom of the 1st

Kerce gets a leadoff single and then Burress doubled to put runners at second and third with no outs. An RBI single from Advincula scored the first run of the game and then Lackey followed up with an RBI single of his own to make it 2-0. A sac fly from Zuckerman pushed the lead to 3-0 and then a two out single from Schmidt put runners at the corners. The fun did not stop there, as Brosius got an RBI single to extend the lead to 4-0 and then Rogers got an RBI double to make it 6-0.

In his second at bat of the inning, Kerce flew out and GT leads 6-0 heading to the 2nd

Top of the 1st

Blakely strikes out three in a scoreless inning and the game is tied 0-0 heading to the bottom of the 1st
