It has been a long time since the Colorado Rockies have had much to get excited about with its pitching staff.

It wasn't often in 2025 that there was positive statements to be made about the Rockies. But they just took another series victory in a sweeper and are inching closer to .500.

An area of the Rockies roster is in desperate need of being addressed as the season is well under way and this is a different ballclub then last year.

It is hard to imagine a Rockies ballclub over .500, but there have been ample opportunities for this team to score a run. A pair of faces are struggling at the plate and Colorado cannot afford that.

It is becoming much more difficult for the Rockies front office to defend the decision to keep Charlie Condon in the minors as Condon is thriving and players on the current roster are not.

The pitching staff is not keeping the Rockies from above .500 record right now, but one major issue that the offense is facing- strikeouts.

The Rockies are becoming a team that is worth watching, which is being fueled in part by an early resurgence in starting pitching.

Colorado is definitely a team to watch right now which is a very weird phrase to even type, but it is true. They just swept the Astros and are now .500.
