A leadoff home run from Brosius cut Mercer's lead to 12-5, and then Kerce reached on an error, which prompted a pitching change for Mercer. Burress walked, and then Advincula singled to load the bases. Back-to-back 2-RBI doubles from Lackey and Baker suddenly cut the lead to 12-9 and Georgia Tech was very much back in this game.

After a one out walk from Schmidt that put two runners on with one out, Hernandez grounded into a double play to end the inning. Mercer leads 12-9 heading to the 8th

A pair of singles and a two-out walk loaded the bases, and then a 2-RBI double gave the Bears a 9-2 lead, and then a 3-run home run pushed the Mercer lead to 12-2. After giving up five runs, Barfield was replaced by Justin Shadek. He got the final out, but Georgia Tech trails by 10 heading to the bottom of the 5th

A error allowed a leadoff runner and then another 2-run home run scored two more and pushed the Bears lead to 7-0. Loy got the final two outs, but the lead for Mercer has grown.

A one out walk and a single put runners on the corners, and after Lankie got the second out, he was replaced by Dylan Loy. Loy gave up a three-run home run before getting the final out and Mercer leads 5-0 heading to the bottom of the 2nd

A leadoff single and a walk put two runners on and then a one out, 2-RBI triple gave the Bears a 2-0 lead. Lankie got out of the inning, but the Yellow Jackets face an early deficit.
