NCAA Softball 2026: Full List of Regular Season Conference Champions

The 2026 regular season is winding down for college softball, and all 31 conferences will have a regular season champion by Monday, May 4.

Only one of these champions will be rewarded with an automatic bid for the 2026 NCAA Tournament. The WCC does not have a conference tournament.

The rest will be the No. 1 seed for their respective league's postseason tournament.

America East: Bryant Bulldogs

The Bryant Bulldogs clinched the outright America East Regular Season Championship with a 9-5 win on Sunday over Maine.

American: Wichita State Shockers, South Florida Bulls

Wichita State swept Memphis on Saturday by a score of 10-5 and clinched a share of the regular-season conference title.

South Florida will be the No. 1 seed in the league's tournament.

ASUN: Central Arkansas Bears (Gold), Stetson Hatters (Graphite)

The Central Arkansas softball team celebrated on Friday, clinching the ASUN Gold Division Championship. The Bears defeated Lipscomb 9-1 at Natalie Shock Stadium, rounding out the regular season in a five-inning run-rule.

The Stetson Hatters secured a pair of wins over Florida Gulf Coast on Friday and Saturday to clinch the ASUN Graphite Division title.

Atlantic 10: Loyola Chicago Ramblers

Loyola Chicago made history as the Ramblers earned the program's first-ever Atlantic 10 Regular Season Championship after defeating George Mason, 10-6, on Sunday.

ACC: Florida State Seminoles

Florida State beat Boston College, 8-0, on Saturday to earn at least a share of the ACC regular-season title.

Big 12: Texas Tech Red Raiders

The Texas Tech Red Raiders swept the Arizona State Sun Devils on the road en route to their second consecutive Big 12 regular season crown.

Big East: Providence Friars, UCONN Huskies

For the first time in program history, the Providence Friars are Big EAST Champions. The Friars beat Butler, 4-2, and earn at least a share of the title.

The UCONN Huskies swept Georgetown to secure a share of the conference title.

Big Sky: Idaho State Bengals

The regular season came down to Idaho State and Montant , who played a three game series ending on Sunday.

Idaho State took two of three games and earned its second straight Big Sky regular-season title.

Big South: Winthrop Eagles

A 7-4 win over Radford and league-wide results crowned the Wintrop Eagles as Big South champions on Saturday.

Big Ten: Nebraska Cornhuskers

After a doubleheader sweep of Penn State, the Nebraska Cornhuskers clinched their first outright conference title since 2004.

Big West: Cal State Fullerton Titans

Cal State Fullerton stormed back to beat Long Beach State on Saturday, 8-7. The win gave the Titans the conference crown.

CAA: Hofstra Pride (North), North Carolina Wilmington Seahawks (South)

Hofstra and UNCW won the CAA North and South Division respectively.

Conference USA: Jacksonville State Gamecocks

Jax State softball clinched its first Conference USA regular season title in program history after beating Middle Tennessee, 12-4 , in five innings on Saturday.

Horizon: Youngstown State Penguins

The Youngstown State Penguins clinched at least a share of the conference title on Saturday with a win over IU Indy. It's their third title in the last six years.

Ivy: Princeton Tigers

Make it five years in a row for the Princeton Tigers winning the Ivy League crown.

MAAC: Marist Red Foxes

The Marist Red Foxes clinched the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular-season championship for the third straight year on Friday with a doubleheader sweep at Canisius.

MAC: Akron Zips

MEAC: Howard Bison

The Howard Bison clinched the 2026 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship on April 18 with a doubleheaderΒ sweepΒ of Coppin State.

Howard has now won back-to-back regular season crowns.

Missouri Valley

The Belmont Bruins grabbed their first regular-season championship in program history after a doubleheader against Indiana State was cancelled and officially concluded conference play.

Ace Maya Johnson picked up two wins against UNI prior to April 28, as she had two complete games with 27 strikeouts, allowing just one run. The redshirt senior leads the NCAA in strikeouts (331), strikeouts per 7 innings (13.1), strikeout to walk ratio (11.03), earned run average (.71), and is tied for first in shutouts (12).

Mountain West: Grand Canyon Antelopes

The Lopes of GCU brought home their first Mountain West regular season title by beating Colorado State on Thursday, 10-5.

Nevada lost its Thursday night contest which sealed the deal for GCU.

NEC: Long Island Sharks

LIU claimed the NEC outright and will host the NEC Tournament.

Ohio Valley: Eastern Illinois Panthers

Make that three straight OVC title for Eastern Illinois.

Patriot League: Boston University Terriers

The Boston University Terriers clinched at least a share of the regular season title and have locked up the No. 1 seed for the Patriot League Tournament after taking the series from Army on April 18.

BU could win the title outright this weekend. The Terriers need to win one game against Holy Cross or for both the Army and Colgate to lose one contest.

SEC: Oklahoma Sooners

A 2-1 series win at Texas A&M, led Oklahoma to its second straight SEC crown.

SoCon: North Carolina Greensboro Spartans

The UNCG Spartans earned their seventh conference title with a 3-0 shutout of Samford on Saturday.

Southland: Southeastern Louisiana Lions

The Southeastern Louisiana Lions clinched their first regular season title in program history on April 17.

SLU clinched the title with an 8-3 victory over Nicholls, combined with Incarnate Word's two losses at Lamar.

The win also secured the program's fifth straight 40-win season.

SWAC: Prairie View A&M Panthers (West), Florida A&M Rattlers (East)

With a sweep of UAPB on Monday, the Prairie View A&M Panthers claimed the SWAC West Division Title.

An 8-7 win over Jackson State on Friday, lifted FAMU to the SWAC East Division Title

Summit League: Omaha Mavericks

The Omaha Mavericks locked up their first outright regular-season conference title on Saturday after taking two games from North Dakota.

In 2025, the earned a share of the title alongside St. Thomas.

Sun Belt: Louisiana Monroe Warhawks

A doubleheader sweep of Southern Miss gave ULM its first-ever Sun Belt title and first conference title since 1997.

WCC: Saint Mary's Gaels

For the third consecutive season, the Saint Mary's softball team has secured at least a share of the West Coast Conference title. The Gaels have three games remaining in the regular season.

WAC: Cal Baptist Lancers

The CBU Lancer won their conference in walk-off fashion, 7-6, on Saturday.
