Rays Beat Yankees 2-1, Advance to ALCS to Face Astros
The Tampa Bay Rays got a late home run from pinch hitter Mike Brosseau, to advance to their first ALCS since 2008.

The Tampa Bay Rays are moving on to the ALCS, where they will face the Houston Astros. Pinch hitter Mike Brosseau entered the game in the seventh inning and hit a solo home run off of Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman. The pitch was blasted by Brousseau on a 3-2 count after a ten pitch at-bat. Gerrit Cole delivered a strong pitching performance but the bullpen could not hold on. The Yankees lone run came by way of a fourth inning home run by Aaron Judge.
