Bryce Underwood visiting LSU Tigers; Nation's No. 1 quarterback making return trip this weekend

The LSU Tigers are hosting an impressive list of visitors this weekend, but there's one clear headliner.
Belleville (Michigan) five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood, the nation's No. 1 overall prospect in 2025, is making a return trip to LSU:
Lsu….. See yall this weekend….

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound signal-caller has led Belleville to back-to-back state titles in his freshman and sophomore seasons, throwing for a combined 5,650 yards and 76 touchdowns.
While it's early in the process, the in-state Michigan Wolverines appear to be firmly in the mix, along with LSU and others.
A return trip, however, is a good sign for the Tigers, and it's a development to monitor.
Here's what 247Sports had to say, in part, about Underwood:
"Ahead of his years physically... Has a strong arm with the ability to make throws to any part of the field. Throws a good deep ball and can use touch to give his receivers a chance to go make plays on the ball. Did an exceptional job of taking care of the ball as a freshman with 39 touchdowns to just four interceptions. Got rid of the ball quickly and was decisive with the ball for the most part. Very good athlete who honestly could be a high-level recruit on defense if he was not such a great quarterback. Uses those legs to escape the rush and extend plays. He looks to throw after escaping but can also take off and be dangerous as a runner. Won a state title as a freshman... Currently shows no glaring weaknesses, just needs to continue to progress in terms of learning defenses and going through progressions, but shows high-end physical tools as well as intangibles."
