Indiana High School Boys Basketball State Championship Scores, Recaps - March 28

See who won each IHSAA championship from Saturday's action

The 2026 Indiana high school boys basketball season comes to a conclusion on Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

All four classifications will crown a champion, and High School On SI will update this page with final scores and recaps throughout the day.

Class 1A State Championship 

Barr-Reeve (27-1) vs. Triton (25-3)

Barr-Reeve pulled away in the second half, outscoring Triton 30-17.

The win gives Barr-Reeve its third state championship in program history.

The Triton defense could not slow down Barr-Reeve's offense. The Vikings offense shot 58 percent from the field and 73 percent from the free throw line.

Triton shot 41 percent from the field.

Josh Miller scored 13 points for Barr-Reeve. Jaylon Graber and Korben Boyd each scored 11 points.

Triton's Julian Swanson led all scorers in the game with 16 points.


Class 2A State Championship

Parke Heritage (26-4) vs. Westview (27-1)

Parke Heritage won its first state championship in any sport when Isaac Pickel made a layup with 10 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.

Westview had a 10-point run to take a 4-point lead with 6:21 remaining, but Parke Heritage clawed back for the win.

Brenden Goins and Treigh Schelsky each scored 17 points for Parke Heritage.

Kaden Grau led Westview with 14 points.


Class 3A State Championship

Indianapolis Cathedral (24-5) vs. New Haven (22-7)

The Fighting Irish finished an impressive playoff run with a Class 3A championship.

The Fighting Irish led by one point with 6:02 remaining, and they proceeded to make 11 free throws to extend lead and win the game. They finished 21-of-36 from the free-throw line.

Cathedral led for much of the game until New Haven took a lead in the third quarter. The Bulldogs had a 2-point lead entering the fourth quarter, but the Fighting Irish outscored them 22-10.

Tarvar Baskerville led New Haven with 20 points. Julien Smith led Cathedral with 21 points.


Class 4A State Championship 

Mt. Vernon (Fortville) (27-3) vs. Crown Point (25-1) 

Mt. Vernon won its first title in program history. The Marauders overcame a 10-point deficit at halftime, and they outscored Crown Point 32-20 in the second half. Luke Ertel led Mt. Vernon with 26 points.

Dikembe Shaw led Crown Point with 24 points.
