Tonight's AEW Dynasty pay-per-view event will see the Devil take on the God of professional wrestling for the top prize in the company.

Last month at AEW Revolution, MJF defeated Hangman Adam Page in a Texas Deathmatch to retain the AEW World Championship. In doing so, Page is no longer allowed to challenge for the title for the rest of his career.

With Hangman disappearing from AEW programming following Revolution, MJF is riding high with momentum heading into Dynasty, but what awaits him is a huge challenge in the form of Kenny Omega.

The last time these two men faced each other was in October 2023, when MJF defeated Kenny Omega on an episode of Collision, not only retaining the AEW World Championship but also becoming the longest-reigning champion in the company's history.

Now on his second reign as champion, Friedman will stand across the ring from Omega once again. But this time, Omega's battle with diverticulitis is in the rear-view mirror, and he is feeling the best he has in years. Will the God of professional wrestling take down the Devil tonight in Vancouver? We'll find out soon enough.

Will Ospreay will also make his AEW pay-per-view in-ring return against the man who put him on the shelf, Jon Moxley, for the Continental Championship. With tonight's match held under Continental rules, no outside interference is permitted. However, you can't rule out interference from someone who doesn't work for the company, because what can Tony Khan do? Fire them? They don't work there.

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage also return to action tonight for the first time since All Out to face the team they defeated at that very show, FTR. This time, the AEW World Tag Team Titles are on the line, and Copeland is looking for revenge for what FTR did to his wife, Beth. Will we see Cope and Cage capture tag team gold for the first time in 25 years? Tune in to find out.

After recently losing to Jamie Hayter in both trios and tag team action, the Toxic Spider will defend the AEW Women's World Championship against her tonight. Hayter is desperate for another run with the title, but Thekla doesn't appear eager to drop the title anytime soon. Tonight's matchup should be a very hard-hitting affair.

Tonight's show will also see the in-ring return of Chris Jericho, who competes for the first time in over a year against former AEW National Champion, Ricochet. After making the list this week on Dynamite, how will the leader of The Demand respond to the former AEW World Champion? All these matches and more are set to take place in just hours, live on pay-per-view.

AEW Dynasty results:

Tonight's Zero Hour kicks off with Renee Paquette, RJ City, Jeff Jarrett, and Paul Wight welcoming us to the event.

A video package airs, hyping tonight's AEW World Tag Team Championship match as FTR defends the gold against Adam Copeland and Christian Cage.

An interview from earlier in the day is shown between Willow Nightingale and Renee Paquette. Kamille returns and attacks the TBS Champion from behind. Kamille will be in action tonight on Zero Hour.

A video package airs, hyping tonight's main event between MJF and Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship.

Alex Windsor defeated Marina Shafir. The crowd was very lively and into this match, which should bode well for tonight's event as a whole. This match saw Marina Shafir in control for a good portion of the match, with Alex Windsor fighting from underneath. The finish saw Alex Windsor hit Marina Shafir with a pump handle half nelson driver to score the pinfall victory.

Kamille defeated Big Anne. This was a quick squash match to showcase Kamille's return. The finish of the match saw Kamille hit Big Anne with a torture rack bomb to score the pinfall victory.

After the match, Willow Nightingale tried to hit the ring to get revenge for earlier, but Kamille took her down once again. You can tell a TBS Championship match between these two women will happen soon.

Jungle Jack Perry defeated Mark Davis to retain the AEW National Championship. This was definitely a David vs. Goliath-style match. Mark Davis threw Jack Perry around like a rag doll for the majority of the match, and the champion made him look like a million bucks. The finish saw Perry hit Davis with a Hurricanrana pin to pick up the win.

A video package airs, hyping tonight's match that will see Kazuchika Okada team with Konosuke Takeshita to take on the Young Bucks.

Divine Dominion defeated Maya World and Hyan to retain the AEW Women's World Tag Team Titles. This went exactly how you expected it to go. A few hope spots for Hyan and Maya World later in the match, but this was really about showcasing Megan Bayne and Lena Kross as an unstoppable force. The finish of the match saw Bayne and Kross hit Hyan with a double chokeslam to score the pinfall victory.

A video package airs, hyping tonight's Continental Championship match between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay. That does it for Zero Hour, it's time for the pay-per-view!

Young Bucks defeated Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita (w/ Don Callis). The crowd was hot during Zero Hour, but they're even hotter now for the main show, and they absolutely hate Don Callis. This match was the perfect way to kick off the pay-per-view and had a little bit of everything you'd want, featuring a match with these four men. There were several points in this match when it felt like either team could win. It was a hotly contested opening match.

The closing moments of the match saw Okada and Takeshita begin slugging it out. When Matt and Nick got involved, both Takeshita and Okada "accidentally" hit each other with their finishers. The finish saw the Young Bucks go for the Meltzer Driver, Takeshita grabbed Nick's ankle to stop it, but then changed his mind and let them hit it on Okada to score the pinfall victory.

Ricochet (w/ GOA) defeated Chris Jericho. This crowd is very fired up to see Jericho back in AEW. Ricochet injures Jericho's arm early in the contest and spends a great deal of the matchup focusing on that particular body part. Every time Jericho would find himself in control, Ricochet would utilize the numbers game with GOA to regain control of the matchup.

A highlight from the match saw Ricochet go for a Shooting Star Press, only to be caught by Jericho with a Code Breaker for a near fall. The finish of the match saw Ricochet hit Jericho with the Spirit Gun, followed by the Lionsault to score the pinfall victory.

Darby Allin defeated Andrade El Idolo. This match will very likely reveal the outcome of the main event before we even get there, which isn't ideal, but that's how the storyline goes at times. Only a few minutes into the match, Darby and Andrade end up taking the match into the crowd and fight up the steps of the arena. Somehow, they weren't counted out before eventually making it back to the ring.

The closing moments of the match saw some near falls for both men, but Allin managed to catch Andrade in the Last Supper to score the pinfall victory. After the match, Andrade extended his hand to Darby, who accepted it. It seems Andrade's time in the Don Callis Family is nearing its end.

FTR (w/ Stokely) defeated Adam Copeland and Christian Cage to retain the AEW World Tag Team Titles. The crowd is very ready to see a title change tonight, and they're likely gonna get it. FTR are in control of the match early on, keeping Copeland away from being able to tag in Cage. Christian would eventually get in the match, but he isn't faring much better.

Later on in the match, Copeland would get hit with the title belt behind the referee's back, busting him open, but he still managed to kick out. The closing moments of the match saw FTR toss Cage over the timekeeper's table, essentially turning this into a handicap match. Copeland tried his best, but the finish saw FTR hit him with the Shatter Machine to score the pinfall victory.

We hear from Willow Nightingale, who says she will put the TBS Championship on the line this Wednesday night on Dynamite against Kamille.

Kevin Knight wins the Casino Gauntlet to become the new TNT Champion. Tommaso Ciampa and RUSH kick off the match with the first two spots they secured in separate matches last week. Ring of Honor World Champion Bandido enters the match at #3. Speedball Mike Bailey comes out next at #4. El Clon enters the match at #5, followed by PAC of the Death Riders at #6.

The Death Riders get the numbers advantage as Daniel Garcia enters the match at #7. Anthony Bowens joins the match in the #8 spot. Kevin Knight enters the match at #9. We get even more Death Riders with Wheeler Yuta coming out at #10. The finish saw Kevin Knight hit Daniel Garcia with a UFO Splash while he had the Dragon Tamer on Speedball to score the pinfall victory.

Thekla defeated Jamie Hayter to retain the AEW Women's World Championship. These two women wasted no time going at it and were throwing haymakers at each other early, trying to secure an early win. This match felt way more like a fight than it did a wrestling match. Thekla and Hayter legitimately looked like they were trying to knock each other out at several points.

The finish of the match was rather anti-climactic as Thekla caught Hayter in a rolling bridge with a hand on the rope to score the pinfall victory.

After the match, Alex Windsor comes out and she and Hayter argue with the referee as the Sisters of Sin come out and celebrate with Thekla on the ramp.

Jon Moxley defeated Will Ospreay to retain the AEW Continental Championship. Seconds into the match, Ospreay hits Moxley with a Hidden Blade, but didn't go for a cover; he wanted to punish the champion instead. The Aerial Assassin's temper gets the better of him as Moxley is able to take advantage and regain control of the match with a Death Rider on the ringside floor.

Ten minutes in and the match is very back and forth between the champion and the challenger. In an insane spot, Moxley hits Ospreay with a piledriver on top of the steel steps, but Ospreay is able to get back in the ring at the count of nine. The finish of the match saw Moxley hit Ospreay with the Death Rider to score the pinfall victory.

Renee Paquette speaks with Darby Allin backstage, and from the sounds of things, he's going to cash in his AEW World Title shot this Wednesday on Dynamite.

Kyle O'Reilly returns to team with The Conglomeration for the AEW World Trios Titles.

Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O'Reilly defeated The Dogs to win the AEW World Trios Titles. The crowd seems really desperate for a title change tonight, and this is likely their last chance. It's hard to imagine an AEW World Title match between Darby Allin and Kenny Omega on Wednesday. Gabe Kidd appears to have suffered some kind of injury mid-match and has been taken out of the match. This might force a title change even if they weren't planning one.

The finish saw Kyle O'Reilly grab Clark Connors in a grapevine ankle lock to win the match via submission for his team.

MJF defeated Kenny Omega to retain the AEW World Championship. The referee takes away MJF's Dynamite Diamond Ring before the bell even rings to start the match. The early part of the match was filled with MJF taking cheap shortcuts to get the advantage over Omega, but the Best Bout Machine overcame them all.

As the match settled in the match was very back and forth between the champion and the challenger. This was easily the best match of the evening and will likely be discussed as a match of the year candidate at the end of 2026. The closing moments of the match saw a ref bump, which allowed MJF to retrieve his ring. He tried to hit Omega but he missed and Omega hit him with the One Winged Angel. Omega had the match won but by the time a second referee came out, MJF kicked out.

Friedman used the ring on Omega stomach and hit him with a tombstone piledriver through a table at ringside before hitting him with the Heatseeker to score the pinfall victory.

MJF poses on the stage in his throne with the title as AEW Dynasty goes off the air.
