MLB Fans Crushed Astros CF Chas McCormick for His Dirty Play Against Mariners

In this story:
The Astros lost to the Mariners 5–1 on Thursday night and one moment from late in the game had Major League Baseball fans rightfully upset at one of Houston’s players after he got away with a dirty play that could have led to an injury.
Astros center fielder Chas McCormick tried to beat out a ground ball in the bottom of the ninth inning but when he realized he wouldn’t be able to, he took a swipe at Ty France’s left arm in a move that was both illegal and dangerous.
McCormick didn’t face any punishment for this but MLB should do something about it:
That's just not cool at all.
MLB fans agreed:
What a loser. What’s the game plan here… he drops the ball, you’re safe, and then they review it and see your ass interfering with his catch? I swear some guys who wear the Stros uni just got cheating in their DNA they can’t help themselves https://t.co/KikYVx7FEh

Absolutely unacceptable here from McCormick. Should be a fine and or suspension. Garbage. https://t.co/X3KOb69fDX
