Ole Miss Rebels in Early Hole vs. Georgia Bulldogs At Halftime

The Ole Miss Rebels entered their Saturday night matchup vs. the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs, looking to make a statement to the rest of the country that they deserve to be in the College Football Playoff Conversation.
However, after one half of play, the Rebels look to be in trouble, trailing the Bulldogs 28-14 heading into the locker room at halftime.
The Rebels got off to a hot start against the Bulldogs, marching down the field for an early score to go up 7-0.
The Bulldogs would answer on the very next drive, evening the score on a Daijun Edwards run from one yard out, evening the score at 7-7.
And then one drive later, after the Rebels turned the ball over on downs in Georgia territory, the Bulldogs were right back in the end zone, with Carson Beck hitting Ladd McConkey for a 29-yard score and giving his team a 14-7 lead.
The Rebels answered on the next drive, going 75 yards in nine plays and tying the game at 14-14, thanks in large part to the ground game. The drive was capped off by a four-yard Quinshon Judkins touchdown, which was his second of the game.
After that, Georgia took control of the momentum, scoring two unanswered to take a 28-14 lead. The first touchdown came on another short run from Edwards, while the second was punched into the end zone by Kendall Milton from seven yards out.
Ole Miss was able to end another potential scoring drive by the Bulldogs on the final drive of the second half with an interception.
The Rebels will kickoff to start the second half.
