OXFORD, Miss. -- Four star forward Rashaud Marshall appears to be sticking with the Ole Miss Rebels following the hiring of Chris Beard to the men's basketball coaching position on Monday.

The star out of Blytheville, Ark., originally decommitted from Ole Miss on Feb. 28 following the uncertainty around the firing of then-head coach Kermit Davis, but based on his Twitter presence on Monday, it appears he is back on board with the Rebels.

Marshall retweeted a tweet from Kevin McPherson who covers Arkansas Razorbacks basketball on Monday where McPherson stated that a tweet from Marshall seemed to indicate he was returning to the Ole Miss fold.

Marshall decommitted from Ole Miss following the firing of Kermit Davis in February. He originally committed to the Rebels in July before officially signing with the program in November. He later requested release from his National Letter of Intent.

The power forward spent his prep days at Blytheville (Ark.) High School, and he received SEC interest during his original recruitment, namely from Missouri and Texas A&M.

The Ole Miss basketball program is currently in a season of change as former Texas Longhorns coach Chris Beard was announced as the program's new leader on Monday.

Beard has an outstanding overall record in his head coaching career (237-98), but he was fired from Texas after domestic violence charges were brought against the coach in December of last year.
