Live Updates - The University of Georgia vs Ole Miss, Game Three

This is game three of this SEC matchup. The series is split 1-1. Both teams will be eager to get the series win to help their resume as we are nearing the end of the regular season.
1st Inning: UGA Goes Three Up Three Down. Ole Miss Scores a run, but hit into a double play (1-0 Ole Miss).
Top: Taylor Rabe takes the mound for the Rebels. Tre Phelps will face him first, and he starts the game by hitting a fly ball to right field, but is eventually caught. Jackson climbs in next, and he grounds out to second base. Lujo looks to keep the inning going, but he grounds out to second.
Bottom: Caden Aoki takes the bump for the Dawgs. Dom Decker leads off for the rebels, and he takes ball four on a 3-1 count. Bissetta climbs in next; Decker steals second base. Bissetta proceeds to earn an infield single to second base, and Decker goes to third. Utermark steps in next, and he hits a ground ball to short, which results in a double play; Decker scores. Furniss looks in next, and he takes ball four on a full count. Jones climbs in next, and he grounds into a fielder's choice; Furniss is out at second.
2nd Inning: Dawgs Answer By Adding A Run. Ole Miss Leaves Two On Base (1-1 TIED).
Top: Michael O'Shaughnessy will lead off for the Dawgs, and he strikes out swinging. Calloway climbs into the box for the first time this series, and he flies out to center field. Allen looks in next, and he smokes a double off the wall in center field. Wynn looks to come in clutch, and he does by hitting an RBI single to right field; Allen scores. Branch steps in next, and he pokes a single to right field. Black climbs into the box next, and he gets hit by the pitch to load the bases. Phelps returns to the plate, and with the bases loaded, he grounds out to second base. The Dawgs have left the bases loaded 5 times this series.
Bottom: Owen Paino will start the bottom of the second off by hitting a ground ball past the diving Wynn at second for a leadoff single. Randle looks in next, and he pokes a single that falls in front of Lujo in center field. Reuter climbs into the box next, and he strikes out swinging. Fawley walks in next, and he strikes out swinging on a full count. Decker returns to the plate, and he lines out sharply to first base.
3rd Inning: UGA Grabs The Lead Thanks From Daniel Jackson's Homer. Ole Miss Goes Three And Out (2-1 UGA).
Top: Daniel Jackson will lead off for the Dawgs, and he smokes a homer (21st) to center field. Lujo looks to join the party, but he strikes out swinging on a 97 mph pitch. O'Shaughnessy looks in next, and he lines a single to right-center field. Calloway is looking for his first hit of the series, but he strikes out looking. Allen climbs back into the box, and he singles through the right side; O'Shaughnessy advances to third. Wynn looks in next, and he grounds out to short.
Bottom: Tristian Bissetta will lead off for the Rebels, and he strikes out swinging. Utermark climbs into the box next, and he flies out to the warning track in center field. Furniss walks into the box, and he lines out to second base.
4th Inning: UGA Hits Into A Double Play Which Shuts Down The Momentum. Ole Miss Leaves A Man On Base (2-1 UGA).
Top: Kolby Branch leads off the top of the fourth, and he earns an infield single. Black walks back into the box, and he hits into a 3-6-3 double play. Phelps returns to the plate, and he lines out sharply to third base.
Bottom: Topher Jones starts the bottom of the fourth by flying out to center field. Paino climbs in next, and he drops a single into center field. Randle steps into the box, and he also flies out to center field. Reuter looks in next, and he grounds out to shortstop.
5th inning: UGA Leaves A Man On Third. Ole Miss Goes Three And Out (2-1 UGA).
Top: Daniel Jackson will lead off again, and he strikes out swinging. Lujo will step up to the plate next, and he smokes a double off the wall in left-center field. O'Shaughnessy climbs into the box next, and he grounds out to first base; Lujo advances to third. Calloway walks in, and with a runner on third with two outs, he strikes out swinging.
Bottom: Austin Fawley will start the bottom of the 5th by striking out looking. Decker returns to the plate, and he grounds out to second. Bissetta climbs into the box next, and he grounds out to second.
6th Inning: UGA Goes Three Up And Three Down. Ole Miss Strikes Out Three Straight Times (2-1 UGA).
Top: Henry Allen will lead off for the Dawgs, and he grounds out to the pitcher. Wynn climbs into the box next, and he grounds out to shortstop. Branch looks to keep the inning alive, but he strikes out swinging.
Bottom: Judd Utermark leads off for the Rebels, and he strikes out swinging. Furniss climbs into the box next, and he strikes out looking. Jones steps into the box next, and he also strikes out looking.
7th Inning: Dawgs Extend Their Lead By One. Ole Miss Leaves A Runner On Second (3-1 UGA).
Top: Ryan Black leads off for the Dawgs, and he smokes a double down the right field line. Ole Miss decides to change pitchers as LHP Walker Hooks comes into the game. Phelps steps in and is looking for his first hit of the day, but he gets hit by the pitch on his knee and falls to the ground. Thankfully, Phelps gets to his feet and trots to first. Jackson looks to make him pay, but he strikes out looking. Lujo climbs into the box next; Black and Phelps perform a double steal. Lujo proceeds to hit a sacrifice fly to right-center field; Black scores. O'Shaughnessy returns to the plate, and he strikes out swinging.
Bottom: New pitcher for the Dawgs as LHP Kenny Ishikawa comes into the game to pitch. Owen Paino will start the bottom of the 7th by striking out swinging. Randle walks into the box, and he takes four straight balls. UGA decides to go to the pen. RHP Zach Brown takes the bump with one on and one out. Reuter will face Brown first; Randle advances on a wild pitch. Reuter proceeds to strike out swinging. Hayden Federico comes into the game to pitch hit, and he grounds out to second base.
8th Inning: UGA Goes Three And Out. Ole Miss Leaves The Bases Loaded (3-1 UGA).
Top: Bryce Calloway leads off for the Dawgs, and he strikes out swinging. Allen climbs into the box next, and he grounds out to third base. Wynn looks to keep the inning going, but he lines out to left-center field.
Bottom: Dom Decker will lead off the bottom of the 8th inning by grounding to first base, and it goes off of Zach Browns glove, and O'Shaughnessy fields it and taps the bag with his glove because Brown was lying down near the bag for a strange 1-3 put out. UGA decides to change pitchers as RHP Paul Farley comes into the game with one out. Bissetta will be the first to face him, and he earns an infield single to second base off a high chopper. Utermark steps into the box, and he strikes out swinging on a dirty breaking ball. Furniss climbs into the box next, and he gets hit by the pitch on a 3-2 count. UGA decides to change pitchers as RHP Grant Edwards comes into the game. Jones will face him first, and with two on and two outs, he gets hit by the pitch to load the bases. Paino climbs into the box with the bases loaded; UGA decides to go to the bullpen on a 0-1 count. RHP Justin Byrd comes into the game to pitch. Paino proceeds to strike out swinging, which ends the inning.
9th Inning: UGA Add Two Insurance Runs. Ole Miss Unable To Answer (5-1 UGA).
Top: Kolby Branch leads off for the Bulldogs, and he fights back after being 0-2 in the count. On a 3-2 count, he rips a single that falls in front of the left fielder on the 9th pitch of the at-bat. Black crawls into the box next, and he flies out in foul territory near third base. Phelps steps back into the box, and he hits a high fly ball to center field. The center fielder drops what seems like a routine fly ball, and Branch advances to third. Jackson looks to come in clutch, and he does by hitting a sacrifice fly to right field; Branch scores. Lujo steps into the box next; Phelps steals second base, his second today. Lujo proceeds to get intentionally walked. O'Shaughnessy walks into the box with a runner on first and second, and he rips an RBI single through the right side; Phelps scores. Calloway crawls into the box, and he grounds out to short.
Bottom: Brayden Randle will start the bottom of the ninth by flying out to foul territory on the 3rd base side, and Tre Phelps leans into the seats as he makes the catch. Cannon Goldin comes into the game to pitch hit, and he strikes out looking. Federico looks in next, and with two outs, he strikes out looking, which ends the game.
Final: 5-1 UGA
In the first game, the Dawgs were winning 8-4 in the seventh inning. Unfortunately, the rebels fought back and took game one 10-8. The second game was a doubleheader, and the Dawgs won 9-7 in the 14th inning.

Expect a lot of fireworks today, before the Dawgs last home stand of the season.
The offense for the Dawgs has been on fire recently. The hot bats have been able to help and support the pitching staff, which has been struggling recently. Daniel Jackson continues to prove that he is the best catcher in college baseball. The junior is nearing the end of his season and wants to make a long run in the postseason.
Kolby Branch has been impressive in the field. He has shown that he has the pitchers back. Not a lot of balls get past Branch, and he has an impressive record for his fielding percentage.
