TEMPE -- Year one of the Randy Bennett era is still roughly seven months away from being fully realized for the Arizona State men's basketball program, but the roster-building that will decide what the 2026-27 team shapes up to be is approaching imminently.
The transfer portal is officially set to close on Tuesday after being open for two full weeks, but players that entered their names prior to the closure are still able to commit to new schools after the window.

Follow key developments ahead of the portal's official opening, including departures and potential targets, below.
Confirmed/Expected Departures
- F Kash Polk (Jacksonville State)
- G Adante Holiman

- F Marcus Adams Jr. (Hawaii)
- C Dame Salane
- CG Noah Meeusen (DePaul)
- C Massamba Diop
- G Anthony "Pig" Johnson
- Trevor Best
- F Andrija Grbovic
- F Santiago Trouet
- F Jovon Ićitović

Polk's intention to enter the portal was announced on April 2 after just one season in Tempe. The Texas native redshirted during 2025-26 and will likely look for a more immediate opportunity to see the court.
Holiman earned a medical redshirt after missing all of last season, and now appears to be back on the move for his final season of college basketball.

Adams Jr. went into the season expected to be a major contributor to the team, but a nagging back injury resulted in the sharpshooter being shut down in early February. The redshirt sophomore will now look to find a fresh start.
Meeusen entered the portal shortly after it opened on Tuesday 4/7 after a lone season in Tempe, with the potential for the Belgian guard to seek a fresh start after the departure of Bobby Hurley. Diop entered the portal on the afternoon of April 8 and is in the process with a "do not contact" tag, which implies that the talented big man has an idea as to where he will wind up.

Johnson entered his name in the portal on Friday after one season at Arizona State as a sixth man. The elite scorer will need to receive a waiver to play in the 2026-27 season.
Confirmed Portal Additions
- F Marcus Vaughns (LSU)
The 6'8" forward hails out of Australia and has a lengthy relationship with current ASU associate head coach David Patrick. He is a former four-star recruit that redshirted last season with LSU.

- C Nate Garcia (Cal Baptist)
Garcia recently wrapped up his freshman season under Rick Croy, who joined Bennett's staff in late March. The center is quite raw, but has a ceiling that can be realized in the years to come.
- F Emmanuel Innocenti (Gonzaga)
Innocenti is a well-rounded defensive player that is servicable enough on offense and will likely factor into Bennett's rotation at the wing position this coming season.

- PG Joel Foxwell (Portland)
Foxwell closed out his freshman season with Portland in special fashion, as the point guard paced his team in points, assists, and steals, while also being a great rebounder for his size.
The Australian native has at least three full seasons of eligibility left and will fit seamlessly into Bennett's operations.
- PF Paulius Murauskas (St. Mary's)

Murauskas is a top-10 player in the transfer portal and an unquestioned foundational add for Bennett in year one as head coach. The Lithuanian forward will fit well into the Big 12 and has the ability to etch his name into Sun Devil history next season.
Potential Portal Additions
