USC to Hire Eric Musselman As Next Men's Basketball Head Coach, per Report

USC is set to hire Arkansas' Eric Musselman as the program's next head men's basketball coach, according to a report from Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Musselman will replace Andy Enfield, who left the Trojans for the vacant SMU coaching job earlier this week. USC hiring Musselman concludes a five-year stint for the veteran coach at Arkansas, where he led the Razorbacks to three NCAA tournament appearances, including an Elite Eight run in the 2020-21 season.
Musselman now returns out west, where he played at the University of San Diego and coached at several stops, including for the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings as an NBA head coach, as well as the University of Nevada, where he coached before taking the Arkansas job.
Musselman holds a career 221–93 record at the college level, with six NCAA tournament appearances in his nine seasons total at Nevada and Arkansas.
